Controls:

The Flashback Player provides a virtual joystick, which you can use anywhere in the open space of the game screen.  Touch the screen and move your finger in the appropriate direction.

Left/Right

Move Conrad left or right.

Up

When standing Conrad jumps, when running Conrad will perform a running jump.

Down

When standing Conrad will crouch.  When running Conrad will roll.

A (Action)

When Conrad is beside an item (visible at the top center of the screen), Conrad will pick it up or interact with it.  With gun drawn, Conrad will fire.  When next to a person, Conrad will talk to them, and when next to a switch or device, Conrad will activate it.

USE (B)

Use the current item, which is shown at the top-right of the game play area.  Depending on the item, Conrad may throw it (stone), activate it (force field), offer it to a character or use it with a nearby device.

GUN

Draw/Conceal weapon.

ITEMS

Hide or show Conrad's inventory.  Use the joystick to highlight the desired item and press the ITEMS button again to select it.  The selected item will show at the top-right of the screen.  In full screen mode, this will also activate the side menu, providing access to additional features such as save/load and more.  During a cut scene, this will skip.

Lists Conrad's most important moves by name.

Jump forward

A+UP

Climb up

UP (must be under a ledge)

Run

A+LEFT / RIGHT.  You can release the joystick, whilst holding A to continue running.  Whilst running, Conrad will also automatically jump up to a ledge.

Running Jump

UP (Conrad must be running)

Running Roll

DOWN-LEFT / DOWN-RIGHT (Conrad must be running)

Climb Down

A+DOWN (must be on a ledge)

Crouch

DOWN (With gun drawn, Conrad will remain crouched)

Crouch Roll

LEFT / RIGHT (whilst crouched with gun drawn)

Roll

DOWN, LEFT / RIGHT.  Move stick down to crouch and then roll around to either LEFT or RIGHT to make Conrad perform a roll in that direction.

Other tasks:

Elevator/Lift

A+UP / A+DOWN to control the platform.

Dialog from characters

During dialog from a character, press ITEMS to continue.

Charging shield

Select the shield from Conrad's inventory and whilst in front of an Energy Generator, tap the USE button.
